I want to clearify my point of view, because i agree with Scawen on the post what is quoted by Amynue. I don't want to see the LFS becoming a money factory. I'm just ---> a little bit about the speed of the upgrades. That's why I posted my opinion from the increasing of the dev's team.

Alexilon, another good opinion . We'll see...I hope that we'll see soon. BTW we can get a lot of new fun with the rocco, and i think, that when it will appear, the most of the championship organizers will include on a champ, or will start a new champ based on rocco.
Back to devs, 1-2 new dev is ok in my opinion, but we have to congratulate to Victor, Eric and Scawen for what they done. The physic of the LFS is one of the bests atm, while The NFS's physic is the work of a lot of programmers, and look how it is....

That's what I didn't want too. I was just thinking about 1 or 2 talented programmer, who can join in the team, to increase the speed of the upgrades. Nowadays monthly is appearing a new sim game, or a new update for a sim game, and on the LFS we got 1 new car in 1-2 years. (plus some patchs including some good changes on the game, like ABS, rotating discs, and etc..). It's a lot of work to do that things, but in comparation of other sims, it is a bit far from enought... You can say now that GO SANCHEZ and play another sim game then, but IMO this is not the right way. It's a forum, where you can write your opinion about the game.

Alexilon: your post includes a lot of goodies . LFS is a great game, including a lot of possibilities, what other sim games didn't have. (i.e. you can drift, drag, cruise, race, you can make your own car skin, own layouts, etc.), and the car physics are very realistic.
It's a great sim program, but how others have already said, the upgrades are coming very slowly. IMO if new tracks and cars were appearing 1 or 2 times a year, the LFS community's increase will be bigger... Yes yes yes, i know, it's easy to talk, but it's a hard to make something new and perfect, but i just can not understand the devs philosophy about the lfs upgrade. Or if the 3 dev (or how many devs are now ) is pure for this lot of upgrades, why they don't recruit some talented programmers..My opinion is that it's better to earn 10dollar from 100 that to earn 2 dollar from 6. (just an example, and i didn't reffered that they have to increase the price of the licence, i refered to the increase of the new licence buyers).

Hi! I saw a few threads about the waiting of the VW. I have only one question to peoples who are starting that threads: Do you guys have any idea, that how many functions and procedures have to work 100% correct, when you just turning you whell on LFS? Devs have to make a completly new car, what car is realistic, so all the physics have to be as realistic as possible. That needs a lot of programming. My opinion is that better to wait a fully finished car, then play with a bad car modell, what has a few bugs, then going on forum and starting threads:"VW bug, OMG..." etc...

And how Scawen said: They are working on things what we know, and what we don't know. Maybe we will see some new fresh addons, or tracks, or who knows it? Be patient, and the result will be fine!

Forget the cruising EQ

My opinion is, that if EQ would make a cruise server with all this stuffs what he knows, that cruise server with a great insim will become unbeatable. I'm checking time to time this thread, reading the new addons on the Airio, and it's still the greatest tracker.

This week I'll buy the S2, and I'm waiting too the new VW. Maybe there's some problems to resolve with the licence of that car. I think that the physics are finished, or 90% finished, because in Leipzig the Scirocco was used on LFS. So we have to wait the devs answer: When we can drive the VW?

I've just talked about, that many pics are more photoshop and least LFS...but here the accent is on the screenshot..your background pic DK it's a photo from a garage. What you did? you made an in-game screenshot, you've cutted the car, and pasted on this image. The image is OK, it's fine, but it's 20% LFS, 80% Photoshop...just the car is from LFS, anything else is stranger..but how I've sad, it's just my personal opinion

Yes my friend, I've didn't sad, that you copy paste-ed the background. But a suggestion: Why we are changing the nature of this pic? In your pic for example: Why don't you use the LFS Garage, what is in game? and then you didn't have to cut the car, to make a nice background, and etc etc. It's more simple, but it's more closer to the screenshot, that an cutted car somewhere in a strange nature....It's not Photo, or screenshot, if you cut out a car, and you put it on a non LFS pic...It's edited pic, or something like this, but it's far far away from screenshot imo. But do what you want, theese are only my suggestions for moving the competition more closer to the in-game photos...

Hmm.. I don't understand, why is PHOTOMODE the title of this competition, because at the moment, for this theme I see 2 pic's which was made in LFS. For example: JO53PHS, your pic can be made by using the LFS Skin Viewer, cutting out the FZR, and changing the background...It's simple, and I think it's not an in-game photo. Spangler's example pic is very good. And Deejayyaj's pic is awesome. This pic's are photo's, but the rest is photoshop, or dunno what prog's are you using for edit pic's...Guys, it's just MY opinion.
